Here are links to a few articles and how-to instructions related to fly fishing in Northern Michigan. Check back as I will be adding new ones from time to time.

"Fishing Before the Hex Hatch" looks at some of the hatches that occur just before the annual Hex Hatch making for the best dry fly fishing of the year, often in solitude.
"Fishing After the Hex Hatch" shares what an angler can expect to find on the water in the months following the Hex Hatch. Complete with tips on how to best find the bugs and how to fish them; from the small Tricos to the big mouse patterns, this is not time of the year to put your rod away.
